Brigantia works with thousands of channel partners across the UK and Ireland, providing a broad range of cybersecurity solutions. They recently hosted two partner days, providing vendors and partners the opportunity to listen, share and discuss key services and solutions in the channel right now.

There was a substantial turnout on the days of the 22nd and 23rd of February in Birmingham and Newcastle. The two days were full of fantastic talks and presentations from guest speakers with plenty of opportunities for networking.

Birmingham and Newcastle Partner days

After settling in over coffee, attendees were welcomed by Sales Director, Angus Shaw, before jumping straight into the first presentation and Brigantia’s new vendor launch, Octiga. Following on from their launch webinar the day before, Rob McFeely detailed how Octiga is giving MSPs the confidence to deliver Office 365 security.

Paul Lloyd from Sellerly, followed with his guest presentation on ‘how recession ready are you?’ after which everyone had a chance to network in a mid-morning break. Throughout the rest of the morning, further presentations were heard from:

  • Heimdal Security, where Alan Case focused on ‘the ultimate platform for a cybersecurity first managed service’.
  • CyberSmart’s Sam Soares provided detailed information on their product update for 2023.
  • Arista’s, Surya Neogi introduced us to the Cognified Unified Edge.

Inaugural email Security Summit

Brigantia’s Angus Shaw stated: “We want to thank everyone who attended our partner days in Birmingham and Newcastle. It’s always a fantastic opportunity to meet face to face and share the latest in the channel, and all the presentations were extremely useful for our partners and well received.”

Last year, Brigantia hosted the Cyber Essentials Summit 2022, and, due to its success, is hosting another event this year, this time an Email Security Summit. The event is being hosted in the grounds of The Imperial War Museum in London on Thursday 4th of May. The day will consist of a mixture of presentations and discussions focusing on one of the main talking points among the MSP community this year.

The day will provide the opportunity to discuss issues facing MSPs and learn about services and solutions to help strengthen their portfolios.
