Introduction to Brigantia
ITVET’s journey with Brigantia and Heimdal began in 2023, when Brigantia’s Senior Business Development Executive, Alan Szlanga, invited Josh to attend the Brigantia Partner Conference in Canary Wharf, London.
The event was the first in-person introduction to Brigantia and Heimdal, and it made an immediate impression.
A standout moment came during a presentation by Heimdal Chairman & Founder Morten Kjaersgaard, whose passion for the product resonated strongly with Josh.
“Seeing the product live meant I could sort of avoid all the ‘Oh, what are they like? Who are they?’ Actually seeing what the product looks like is quite cool …
If you ever speak to Morten, he gives a certain level of passion about his product, which is very similar to our directors.”
Following the event, the relationship developed further when Brigantia exhibited at the MSP Show in London. This provided another opportunity for deeper conversations, allowing Brigantia to fully understand ITVET’s environment, challenges and requirements; particularly around endpoint security.
Challenges
Before adopting Heimdal, ITVET had faced several challenges with their existing security stack.
With previous solutions, they faced performance issues that slowed end-user machines, impacting the overall experience. ITVET wanted greater visibility across its environments, as well as stronger auditing and logging capabilities to support both security and compliance requirements.
Like many MSPs, they were managing multiple products across their stack, across thousands of devices, which led to inefficiencies and additional overhead.
Ultimately, ITVET wanted a solution that could:
- Improve performance without compromising security
- Provide better visibility and reporting
- Simplify their stack through consolidation
- Deliver a more intuitive experience for both engineers and clients
The Solution
Heimdal enabled ITVET to consolidate multiple tools into a single unified platform, reducing complexity while strengthening security coverage across over 4000 devices.
From the start, Brigantia played a key role in guiding the migration process to Heimdal. Their team supported ITVET through the initial discovery, delivered detailed product demos, and facilitated a proof of concept to demonstrate the solution in a real-world environment.

Implementation & Migration
Despite replacing a core part of their security stack, the migration to Heimdal for ITVET was extremely smooth with clear communication throughout the process.
From an end-user perspective, the change was almost invisible. Josh commented:
“Our clients didn’t really notice much, which is a good thing when you’re swapping over a core product.
Of course, we communicated, but they didn’t think we’d gone ahead with the migration because they just came in and everything was working.”
This seamless transition ensured there was no disruption to any day-to-day client operations.
The Impact
Since implementing Heimdal, ITVET has seen significant improvements in both its internal operations and client offerings. One of the most notable changes has been the elevation of their baseline service.
“We elevated our minimum offering to having 24/7 support via Heimdal. Which meant that all of our clients, once they’re onboarded, get full coverage.”
