We’re delighted to have partnered with Octiga, who provide first-class Office 365 security.

On 21st February, to celebrate the partnership and highlight what it offers MSPs, we co-hosted a webinar with Octiga called ‘Octiga - Optimise everything in Microsoft 365 in clicks not weeks’.

Octiga – an introduction

Octiga significantly enhances Microsoft 365 security and is designed specifically for MSPs. Features include remote monitoring and one-click remediation, with built-in templates and automations to speed up configuration and everyday use.

The webinar

Founder Rob McFeely spent the hour demonstrating the platform and addressing any questions from the attendees.

We were delighted with the attendance, and it was a great opportunity to hear first-hand how Octiga addresses the needs and challenges of MSPs.

If you were unable to attend the live webinar, watch it on our website using the link here. Alternatively, you can register for a re-run of the launch webinar on the 4th April at 10am here.

Highlights

The webinar was a great first-hand look at how the Octiga platform works. We covered everything from targeted alerts and remediation to getting support from Octiga. Here are some key questions and answers that came up during the event.

  • How is it licensed?

It’s based on the number of 365 licenses and billed on a monthly basis.

  • Is there any automated remediation around breached rules?

There will be automated remediation – it is coming down the line. If you look on the Octiga site there is a published road map which shows which releases are in progress, and there is a whole area focused around auto remediation.

  • Can Azure AD and Intune endpoint manager settings and policies be managed by Octiga?

Octiga have the capability to do anything in Office 365. They’re not currently dealing with Intune, but there are imminent baselines in the Intune area. Octiga are working with MSPs on this.

  • AADP1 is usually required in the tenant to generate additional alerts. Is that not required?

This isn’t required, Octiga read the raw management API which gives the unified audit log out of Office 365.

We want to thank everyone who attended for their engagement in the session. There were some great questions, and Rob’s answers were all insightful and to the point.
