Staying ahead of compliance: how our portfolio is evolving

Written by Angus Shaw | Apr 1, 2026 8:00:00 AM

Over the last few years, there’s been a shift in compliance, as it’s been increasingly dominating discussions across the MSP and reseller community. CAF, NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Bill, DMARC, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 … are all shaping the discussion, from what’s seen as best practice and what is non-negotiable. What this shift is doing though, is shining a light on how businesses operate and who they work with. This means new opportunities for channel partners who know how to navigate this complex landscape.

At Brigantia, our mission has always been to add value and create opportunities for our partners. By delivering quality products, leveraging the knowledge of our expert team and adding value through ongoing support, we ensure our partners are equipped to not just meet today’s challenges, but are able to thrive in a fast-changing market.

As compliance demands evolve, so too has our portfolio. We share how in this blog.

Compliance is more than just a checkbox

Yes, compliance is a regulatory requirement, but it is also a genuine business opportunity. With increasing enforcement, rising customer expectations and high-profile breaches making headlines, more and more organisations are looking for trusted guidance and solutions that will keep them secure and in line with regulations.

For channel partners, this creates a strong opportunity to establish recurring revenue by providing the tools, services and expertise to help customers navigate complex frameworks.

The key to success is having access to the right solutions, especially ones that are simple to implement, reliable and backed by expert knowledge. That’s why we continually monitor market trends, anticipate changes and ensure our product portfolio addresses what’s next.

DMARC continues to be a major opportunity

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) was our number one trending tip in 2025 (and 2024) and for a good reason. DMARC adoption is accelerating, but the real story is the shift towards enforcement. According to a 2025 Cyberthreat Report, using Sendmarc data, global DMARC adoption increased by 58% year-on-year, while the number of domains moving to a full project policy grew by 149%. The report also highlighted that Google and Yahoo’s 2024 bulk sender requirements drove a 60% rise in valid DMARC records in just two months, highlighting how quickly compliance pressures are reshaping the market.

We anticipated the DMARC shift early, launching Sendmarc to our partner community at the start of 2024. Since then, we’ve been supporting partners with end-to-end DMARC services that take the complexity out of email authentication and security. DMARC continues to present a big opportunity for channel partners, as many UK businesses require managed services to get DMARC right.

Broader compliance opportunities

While DMARC remains an area of high-growth, there are a number of other areas also creating opportunities for partners.

DSARS

There is a growing compliance challenge around Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), with some businesses unable to manage the demand in resource and time that comes from a request. Through Contextul, our partners are able to deliver an outsourced DSAR service, managing the process end-to-end. Contextul is reducing operational burden, accelerating response times and giving partners a scalable solution to expand their compliance services.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials continues to be a key certification in the compliance market and a foundational standard when it comes to security. CyberSmart gives channel partners the tools to guide customers through certification quickly and efficiently and has always been a standout performer for us. In 2025, our relationship doubled in size as a result of the changing compliance market, and we expect to see similar growth this year.

Compliance frameworks

Another vendor we’ve seen increased uptake in is Adoptech, largely being driven by the demand for CAF due to the Cyber Resilience Bill, government interventions and enforcement. But we’re also seeing significant interest in a range of areas, including IS0 27001. With Adoptech there is a big opportunity to sell a managed service around ISO 27001.

CyberSmart, Contextul, Adoptech … they don’t just meet compliance needs, they provide value-added services that customers need and are increasingly looking for.

Staying ahead in a competitive market

Our portfolio is constantly evolving to reflect both market demand and our commitment to delivering quality products that address today’s needs, as well as provide reliable revenue opportunities. Whether it’s helping partners implement DMARC correctly, grow engagement with Cyber Essentials or deliver a managed ISO 27001 service, our approach and portfolio ensures channel partners can stay ahead of the curve.

The regulatory landscape will continue to shift but one thing will remain constant … partners who understand the opportunity, and use the right support, will be well-positioned to turn compliance requirements into business growth.

At Brigantia, we’ll continue to monitor where the next trends will be so that we can help our partners make the most of the opportunities that lay ahead.
