Business Development Executive – Vendor Specific (2 roles available)

Salary: £20,000 + performance related bonus & commission plan (OTE £24,000)

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for introducing a specific Brigantia vendor’s service portfolio to a prospect, delivering qualified leads, and booking product demonstrations. These leads will then be worked on by the Business Development Manager and the relevant Product Specialist that will enable them to secure new business

Key Responsibilities:

  • To research potential new customers to drive new business
  • To deliver qualified leads into the Brigantia Sales Team via cold calling and email marketing
  • To secure new business with prospect business accounts, selling an in-demand IT and technology solution
  • To successfully work within a team environment and liaise efficiently with Managers and Product Specialists in order to achieve KPIs and revenue targets
  • To create end-user facing documentation for partners to be able to market said vendor into their customer base
  • To develop your personal skillset around cybersecurity and understanding generally of the channel Requirements/Skills
  • Past sales role ideal but is not compulsory
  • Experience of using Salesforce from a lead management point of view ideal but is not compulsory
  • Good Microsoft skills – particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Educational Qualifications:

You must hold GCSEs in English & Maths to at least B grade level

  • Confident and able to think with a clear head whilst on the phone
  • Highly organised and able to plan and manage your own workload, meeting deadlines and delivering results while keeping the Business Development Manager informed of progress

  • Display an understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Possess good initiative and an innovative mind
