Account Executive
Reports to: Account Manager
Location: HG4
Department: Sales
Job Type: Full-time, Commission, Permanent
Salary: £20,000 + performance related bonus & commission plan (OTE £25,000)
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for assisting the Account Manager across multiple accounts to deliver exceptional account management and sales results, coordinating day-to-day tasks and managing projects to ensure client satisfaction is continually exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a partner profiling project with the Account Manager to effectively market, upsell to, and offer support to existing partners
- Ensure partners are enabled and engaged in selling and deploying multiple products with their clients, to maximise revenue yield
- Work with specific accounts and help them with sales and marketing advice
- Understand the organisational structure of specific accounts
- Meet/exceed revenue targets
- Proactively gather account feedback that can be utilised for future business enhancements and development
- Create strong relationships with your accounts to build company credibility, brand value, and trust
- Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from key decision-makers regarding customer needs and challenges
- Self-manage the number of opportunities in your pipeline to meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records of opportunities and contacts while providing routine communication about our product portfolio
Requirements/Skills
- Previous sales experience ideal, but not compulsory
- Good Microsoft skills – particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

- Minimum education level of GCSE English and Maths Grade B
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Polite and persuasive telephone skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong independent and collaborative skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
